Terms & Conditions

1. General

These terms apply to all purchases made on CozyMats. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to update these terms to reflect changes in law or our business practices.

2. Ordering & Contract

  • The Agreement: A binding contract is formed when we send an order confirmation to your provided email address.

  • Creative Variations: Because we work with creative partners and artisanal processes, minor variations in color or texture may occur between the product image and the physical rug. These are hallmarks of unique character.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices include Swedish VAT (Moms) at 25% (or the applicable rate for your EU country).

  • Shipping costs are clearly displayed at checkout.

  • We use [Provider, e.g., Klarna/Shopify Payments] for secure transactions.

4. Right of Withdrawal (Ångerrätt) - 14 Days

In accordance with the Swedish Distance Contracts Act, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your rug.

 

  • How to withdraw: You can use our digital Withdrawal Button located in your account/order history, or contact us via email.

  • Condition: The rug must be returned in its original condition. If the rug has been used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and function, we may apply a price reduction for diminished value.

  • Exemptions: Custom-made or specially ordered rugs are exempt from the right of withdrawal.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Return Shipping: Unless otherwise stated, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Refunds: We will refund your payment (including original standard shipping) within 14 days of being notified of your withdrawal, though we may wait until we have received the goods back.

6. Warranty & Complaints (Reklamation)

Under the Swedish Consumer Sales Act, you have a 3-year right to claim for manufacturing defects.

  • If your rug or mat hanger arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us immediately.

  • We will first attempt to repair or replace the item; if that is not possible, we will offer a refund or price reduction.

7. Product Safety: Mat Hangers

Our mat hangers are designed for standard rug weights. Please ensure the wall type and mounting hardware are appropriate for the weight of the rug. CozyMats is not liable for damages caused by improper installation or exceeding weight limits.

8. Privacy & Data (GDPR)

We process your personal data (name, address, email) to fulfill your order and for marketing (if you opt-in). We never sell your data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we follow the recommendations of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden - ARN).
